Oh yes,
I'll fix that when I'm near the PC.
Dales is going to introduce the Direction Converter because the directional voice alerts are his baby. He will be starting a new thread with it's full description.
In the meantime though there is a thread I started a few weeks ago that should still have the correct link for the Direction Converter.
In the meantime I'll go and stand in the naughty corner. _________________ DashCam:

Link amended.
I'm trying to remember all the changes.
1) The initial camera count has been improved and completes before the conversion starts.
2) The 'cameras removed' count has been improved.
3) Cameras with insufficient info (Fixed Gatso and Specs with no speed) also added to the camera count removed
4) The ignore/allow Unverified check now works (don't ask)
5) If you want to check the various counts individually there is a log.txt in the Working Folder
6) The Mobile and pMobile cameras that have no speed (almost always reported but not yet verified) will be given a pseudo speed of 60mph for advance proximity warnings only - the Garmin warning banner will not display the speed because we don't know what it is.
Previously these cameras were ignored as bad.
7) Variable cameras now have either VAR or VARIABLE shown in the warning banner depending on the warning banner character count.
All in all Dales has done a sterling job spotting all these errors and has kept me on my toes. We reckon we have trapped everything but I'm sure something will creep out of the woodwork. _________________ DashCam:

Hi
Everything is working fine for me except when I change the warning text. I'm getting the following error when using POILoader
It only seems to affect the redlight and some of the mobile cams.

Change the warning text from - to ..... ?
The warning text is only really for the Mercedes owners as their units only allow capitals (see the old thread by nemesis1) but I've never seen that before. _________________ DashCam:

Unless you tell me what you are doing - exactly - I can't investigate it.
If I know what text POILoader does't like I can code to refuse it. _________________ DashCam:

WalkerX was involved at an early stage with some .net fine tuning when I first converted it from VB6 to VB.net.
Since then the program has moved on so WalkerX removed his links to an obsolete program.
The latest production version is in the first post of this thread (page 1). _________________ DashCam:

You can tell how up to date by the version number in the top menu bar which is in yyyy.mm.dd.version
I'm currently working on the Direction Converter which is undergoing a major change to reversible and adjacent cameras. The change will remove the vast majority of back to back warnings where there are reversible or adjacent cameras (less than 60 yards). You will get just a single non heading warning of a camera ahead rather than the current double warning of 2 cameras ahead, one north and one south for example.
Once that is complete I will look at this. _________________ DashCam:
