What an absolute piece of rubbish. This i have to say will not do Tomtom any favours. A few points to note, at least i couldn`t see how to find them.
1. No alternative routes offered, only the one.
2. For me a very important feature, you can`t add a stop to the route.
3. With the live traffic if there is a delay you can`t ask to minimise it or ask for an alternative
These were just a few points i found, and compared to the android version this badly needs updating already.

It already IS updated. WYSIWYG - what you see is what you get.
TomTom are regularly updating and each update they find something different to discard. When I saw the new GO Mobile on my iPhone, I thought it looked just like my GO6100, so I expected "Add a stop" to be included. But it isn't - unless there's somewhere else they have hidden it. Let's face it, it's logical not to go somewhere via somewhere, innit? Or izzit?
I still have the previous version and that does VIA _________________ Dennis

+1
Here's what I wrote in TomTom's own forum:
Personally, I don't blame any of the TomTom staff (whether they're full time employees or contractors) - they are only doing what they are told to do. If you have to blame somebody please blame the people at the top, i.e. TomTom CEO: Harold Goddijn. Let them know how you feel so write to them, email them, phone them.
TomTom used to be an innovative company it no longer is. TomTom Traffic is brilliant, however you cannot rely on a single decent feature when the rest of your product is effectively unusable.
TomTom now manufacture other products such as "Sports and Fitness" and "Action Cameras". I won't be buying any of those products - not as a protest to TomTom but because I've seen TomTom take away so many features from their navigation products that I'd be seriously worried that they'd do the same to their other products with equally disastrous effects for the end user.
Imagine a fitness watch that no longer has the ability to measures your pulse or an action camera that has only sound as the video feature has been disabled? You may laugh but that is exactly what TomTom have done to their navigation products over time, remember these: POIs (not just on screen but you could actually edit/create/delete on a TomTom unit); Itinerary planning; customised menus; SDK (we used to have loads of third-party add on products); compass; Buddies; etc. to name but a few.
I've been with TomTom since Navigator 2 on the PocketPC, I've owned a number of PNDs the last was a 950 LIVE which I keep safe as I consider it the last of the best. I've not bought any more PNDs since. I moved over to TomTom on iOS but that had a blip with third party POIs (which was eventually fixed) but the new TomTom GO Mobile for iOS is like the current TomTom PNDs - basic.
I don't think that TomTom will listen. I truly believe that as a TomTom long time supporter it is time to jump ship. Sorry TomTom, if you don't listen to us you will lose us. Isn't it easier to keep customers then to get new ones ? Once you've lost a customer it is much harder to get them back.

The Android App started off like this but today is much better with more feature like add stop, choice of route on demand, etc. - and as these have been added since launch and the iOS app just released I expected them to be on a Parr with each other. But no
Pity really, but hopefully they will catch up with the development of each other soon - I guess TT just wanted / needed to get it out the door _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600
