|
|
Hi,
I spotted on the Holux Taiwan's web site the Holux GR-231, apparently the successor of the GR-230. Holux UK's web site doesn't list it. Any idea when it'll be available in Europe, and at which price?
I also wonder what this means:

No power adapter needed? What do you plug in? 110/220V, 12V, ...? |

No information as yet, but Holux do supply us with eary review samples, so we should be expecting something soon
Re External Power Supply, I suspect they are probably meaning that you can't permanently power it, the charger only charges the battery and nothing else. |

Any date foreseen?
I was planning to buy a GR-230 to replace my GM-210 but now I think it's better I wait to see what are the improvements of the GR-231.
Thanks! _________________ The greatest prison is the human mind |

As Dave says, he will be receiving a review sample shortly. :D
In the meantime here is the low-down:
- It's not a replacement fro teh GR-230; it's additional to it.
- xTrac technology
- replaceble battery
- battery is the same as Nokia 7X/8X series - but the HOLUX battery can withstand greater temperature such as is typically found on the dashboard of cars!
- Anti-slide grips
- Lanyard hole
- auto power off when when bluetooth connection dropped for 10 minutes.
- robust design; can be dropped from 70cm with no ill effects.
We hope that this whets everybodies appetite for the moment.
