Hi
Is there any update if the cam warnings can be gotten to work with Nissan Premium Connect systems? I tried and failed, and would really like to get the cam warnings to work on my car.

Hi and welcome to PGPSW forums.
Please can you explain a bit more fully, as 'I tried and failed,' does not convey very much info when you are asking for help
Are you following the instructions here (Click) If so, at what point does it fail. Is your system different to that described. C'mon, give us a clue |

The instructions given for Nissan Connect (non-Premium) do not do anything for a Connect Premium car, and I've searched the boards here and saw people had the same problem and were hoping for a resolution, after which there is no follow up. |

I think poster is raising the issue of not being able to use Pocket GPS warning voices/ sounds which work well on other systems. Anything would be better than the pathetic Nissan beep _________________ Gel

The problenm I find with my Nissan Note is that with so many warning devices - lane detection, indicating when a car is there (forgotten its real name), overspeed, seat belt, they all sound the same! _________________ TomTom Go 540 - V9.058, Map GB & Ireland 860.3101

The instructions we have for the Connect were from Nissan themselves.
Have you tried contacting Nissan about it to see if "3rd party locations" can be added to the Premium models?

Current models have the Connect 2 system, & it certainly does allow d/loading of 3rd party poi's via the car USB port.
http://www.nissan.co.uk/GB/en/YouPlus/ConnectedServices.html
Obviously other poi's don't require sound to alert you're near a LIDL
Your poi's d/load fine & work for fine..save for customised sound.[/u][/b] _________________ Gel
