Hi,
Been a member for years and want to change my device for one with a bigger screen; thinking of a START 60.
However, I cannot tell from the compatibility chart if it will allow my to install speed cams and POIs.
I seem to remember that Tom Tom had a restriction on some of their range that disallowed installation of POIs from a 3rd party source. Does this apply to the START 60 or not?
Very best regards
Keep up the good work

I have a TT Start 60 and can confirm the POIs and proximity warnings all work fine. I used the standard TT .ov2 files.
You need to install them via the TT app (under 'manage community content') but it's quite painless tbh. I used the guide on here when I got mine.
Hope that helps. |

Hello Phil,
As the above post yes they will work fine.
You can use standard voice files or type them in for each type of camera and speed(text to speech). |

Bought one yesterday and I need help urgently please.
Can't find 'Manage Community content'. It worked ok on this XP machine with my boy's Start 25 but I am getting nowhere with this new one.
Starting a 1500 mile trip tomorrow morning too!!!
Edited to add: I should add that I installed a new version of My TomTom last night after removing the 25 version and all updates appear to have been done. Thanks
Ok scratch this, I'll start a new topic |
