In v15 Sygic Speed Cameras (from Sygic) are held in the individual 'maps' folders as .cam files.
Could someone with better 'coding' skills than me not find a way to convert PosketGPSWorld speed camera files in to the Sygic .cam format?
Just hoping... |

There is a way. Sygic do a converter and PGPSW has the files that it requires. You need the download for Sygic Aura.
Look on their website for the converter. |

There is a Sygic RUPI converter, but that is for the standard POI format - not the new .cam Speed Camera format... unless I'm missing something??? |

You're missing something. That's what the RUPI converter does.
What's the difference anyway? (other that the file extension) |

using the rupi converter brings in pgpsw cameras into sygic in the imported pois category not into the new sygic .cam format
sygic switched off the warnings for pois that would allow users to set custom audible warnings for each cam type
trying to bring cams in into .cam format makes sense since there is a native camera warning in the app, but the native database of cams is not as comprehensive at the pgpsw database |
