I have both the UK and USA maps on my Android phone and tablet, as I understand it the upgrade comes with a world map. Do I have to remove one of the installations before doing the upgrade? _________________ Andyfr |

If you go into 'Settings / Maps / Download a Map' you will see maps for all countries / regions, just download the maps you want, there doesn't appear to be a single "World" map, probably because it would be too big. _________________ Galaxy Note 4 / TomTom GO : CamerAlert : CoPilot |

Thanks for that. As I have both the UK and the USA maps already installed should I remove one of these before doing the upgrade? _________________ Andyfr |

If you don't use them get rid, if you do & have the spare capacity leave them alone & download the new ones, as far as I can see you can have as many as you want on the phone with available memory being the only limiting factor. _________________ Galaxy Note 4 / TomTom GO : CamerAlert : CoPilot |

I have only bothered to download the UK map.
Until I plan any European runs, the UK map is all I need.
I am also limited to the 50 free miles per month, as I haven't decided if I will keep Tomtom Go, or use Google maps, or any of the other navigation systems available. |
