hi
about to collect a new bmw with built in sat nav. i understand this does not have speed cam alerts (or the facility to add pgpsw ones to it).
if i run my tomtom live with no route planned, do the camera alerts run as normal so at least i would not have to set a route each time?
thank you. |

I can't comment on the TomTom but I've just bought a 2015 BMW F10 (5 Series Saloon) and although the NBT Pro Nav is a huge improvement on the older CIC Pro Nav, routing is still not on a par with TomTom and there is definitely NO way to add User POI (PGPSW camera files) _________________ Galaxy Note 4 / TomTom GO : CamerAlert : CoPilot |

But if you do not have a route planned you will be warned about a large number of cameras on other roads. It is amazing just how many cameras can be located on other roads, especially if your warning distance is set to a reasonable distance. For a 70mph camera you need a fairly generous warning otherwise it is too late when you get the warning. _________________ TomTom Go 540 - V9.058, Map GB & Ireland 860.3101
