Some notes for Sygic v15...
I've been a Sygic user for some time, and have to say I really like it.
But, the latest version has some missing features, the most annoying being the lack of external SpeedCam PIO warnings.
However, there is a work around.
If you first install an older version of Sygic, with SpeedCam capability (POI warning capability) you can set-up all the necessary warnings.
If you then 'update' to v15 Sygic, the warnings will remain active, and when you place a new SpeedCam POI set into the 'Import' folder within 'Maps' folder, the new database will be imported as normal.
You can also deleted the in-built Sygic camera files by removing the 'cam' file located in every map folder within Sygic.
RUPI Converter works perfectly for SpeedCam database conversion.
And ITN Converter works perfectly for route conversions too!
(I use TYRE for route planning).
Hope that is of info. |

Do you get proximity warnings from the imported (under the old system) speed cams as there is no menu item that allows you to do this? |

Yep, works with audio proximity warnings as set up under the old version of Sygic.
You don't get the pop-up SpeedCam larger Icon, but I never liked that.
I do have the SpeecCam location icons visible on the map though. |
