|
|
I have downloaded, using Mapinstaller, the 2016.10 update of just the UK maps.
However, doing a test run indoors on my 2460 of a route I know that shows junction views they are not showing now. I have version D3048180A in the folder Garmin/System/JCV which is 311mb. I have also downloaded D3060140A which is 809mb. Before I updated the map it worked, should I have changed anything? Could someone please advise? |

MapInstaller simply transfers a map already downloaded to your PC to your device. It doesn't download any other files, eg the .jcv file necessary for junction view.
To get that (and others) you need to use Garmin Express to install the map. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

I couldn't install all of Europe with GE and there's nothing to indicate to download just to SD card so just downloaded the UK map with Mapinstaller and put that in the Map folder.
As I said, I have a JCV file still in the right place, but my 2460 doesn't seem to be picking it up now. |

That won't work though as the jcv file has to match the map, MapInstaller only sends the map, it knows nothing about jcv files.
If there isn't sufficient room GE should offer you the option of either a smaller region or suggest you add a sd card. I'd run Express again and see what happens. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |
