POI-Warner is a german application, and doesn't yet have a big user base here. _________________ Lutz

So how does that differ from a Dutch application with CheckpOInt? :D
There certainly seems a number of questions from users on it on the Forums.
Maybe written by a German, but an excellent application with good support. _________________ Beefy

Sure. And we'll certainly take your suggestion into consideration. If more users respond to this thread then we'll open a POI-Warner forum. _________________ Lutz

I subscribe to it and www.poihandler.com .
I like the way the cameras on this database are broken down into the various speed limits so you can be warned if you are exceeding the speed limit for a particular camera. Mine will say "Warning *0 MPH Speed Camera Ahead" then again and if you are exceeding the speed limit at that camera it will say "Slow down, you are exceeding the *0 mph speed limit" |

Hi
I would also appreciate a forum. I purchased this product and very happy with it. Only thing i don't like is the german lady speaking English. I would prefer the ladies voice in TOM TOM 3.03 |

POI Warner can play any sound file you want for any warning.
I find the German-English "slow down you are exceeding ze speed limit" quite authorative. |

I think allot of people would benefit from a POI-WARNER forum. Personally because of warnings for speed cameras and low bridges.
