TomTom GO 500 5" Sat Nav with Lifetime Traffic & Maps of Full Europe - Special Edition
Is this still supported with pocket gps cams bit confused as says go will not be supported anymore in one part of the supported sat navs depending on 13/14 models.
Or would i be better off with Garmin?

For the 2013/2014 version of the GO 500 it says support WILL be available after TomTom adds support of custom POIs to that model. Support is available to the 2005 model of the GO 500 (the one that uses Home and not MyDrive) but I doubt Lifetime maps were ever offered for that model.

From what I understand, with recent TT models it's their cameras or nothing. What I don't know is how up to date their's are.

I thought as much but didn't want to make a sweeping inaccurate statement not having a TT.

I think I saw a post recently where someone quoted theirs were Octobers version, 3 months out of date.
