Hey folks,
Can anyone confirm - does this thing get me the top of the range Garmin HD traffic with my 2597 ? |

Sorry, a few more Qs
So digital traffic = HD traffic?
Does it matter that my 2597 already has a non-digital traffic subscription? (it's an LMT model, but not an LMT-D)
Is it worth buying the official Garmin extension aerial for the GTM 70? |

Yes ... HD = Digital. See here for info http://www.garmin.com/en-GB/traffic/
If you buy it you should get both, at least that's what I've seen posted ... I've never tried it myself.
Not sure what you mean by the 'official Garmin extension aerial'? _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Thanks - managed to get the GTM 70 at £48 (more or less half price) as this is what it is offered at by Amazon at the moment. So adding it to my 2597LTM I paid a hair less than I would have for a 2598 LTM-D.
So far, so good, I'm liking the digital traffic more than the old RDS type and the DAB traffic reception in my Honda Accord seems good with four strong bars. |
