|
|
Hi, I've just "upgraded" from an HTC Desire HD to an LG G3. I've reinstalled Cameralert on the new G3, but when I start the app (after prompting me that the database is out of date), it just shows me a Google maps screen and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the manu bar up so that I can change the settings ... and update the database!
Any/all help appreciated!
Cheers,
Cossie |

With the phone in portrait mode, try sweeping your finger up from the bottom of the screen. It works on a lot of phones.
The Menu button is usually the rightmost 1 of 3. _________________ Richard

Hmm, thanks Oldboy, but it seems that the G3 is a bit "special" ... swiping up either brings up the 'Google' ring menu ... or just moves the map up the screen :-( |

There seems to be several G3 phones. I was reading the pdf manual for one of them, on Page 23.
Search the Manual that you have for Touch Keys.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help. _________________ Richard

Doh, yes, RTFM! :-)
Turns out that the "split screen" soft-key, when pressed and held, is the "menu" button! Seems strange, I would have thought that most people would need the "menu" function more often than the "split screen" function, but hey-ho, at least I now know ... thanks for your tolerance!
Cheers,
Pete. |

Just had this problem on the note 4. Didn't realise I could hold the multiwindow button for the menu! |
