I ordered one on Saturday and it arrived today. First impressions are that it is an amazing item. Sadly my TomTom Go 720 doesn't have a ball fitting but the clamp jaws open enough to hold it when it is swivelled to the vertical position. Gary did say I could use the Go's suction mount on the sticky disc but I found that it sticks out a long way and could be prone to vibration.
Although the 720 has a curved back it does seem to stick to the disc ok. But I'm not sure how secure it would be with road vibration. Anyway, the clamp holds it and I can use the sticky disc for my phone or iPod. _________________ TT Go Essential |

Do not buy this if you have a Fiesta. I did and as soon as the car starts moving the mount falls out. |

Tried to send mine back when I discovered it doesn't work in the Fiesta. I was given a full refund. You won't beat this company for customer service. First class. |

Mine turned up yesterday.
I need to try it when the car is moving but I can see two issues so far:
1. I need to have my Garmin on the left most ball (If I have it on the right one, it's too close to the steering wheel and blocked by my arm). BUT - I can't rotate it far enough to read properly as the middle ball gets in the way.
The solution is to cut off the middle ball.
2. It appears to be loose in the Cd slot. It can slide left or right a couple of centimetres. Solution? Not sure. I have some sticky velcro which I could use, but it would be a bit unsightly.
I have some options I want to discuss with the company to make it better.
