Is it possible to report missing speed cameras with the TomTomGo as there are many missing locations in and around the Gtr manchester area.
Thanks

Hi John,
Are you using the PocketGPS World camera databases?
If you are, then you can send the details to the following email address:
Cameras[AT]PocketGPSWorld[DOT]com
If you want to send locations of cameras that are not on the database then the best thing to do, if it’s possible on a TT GO, is to create a new POI file for capturing the cameras, and then sending that (.OV2) file to the above email address.

It's for speed check sites in Contiental Europe, e.g. France etc.

Hi privateer,
Thanx for the reply, as far as I know there is no way of producing an ov2 file with the ttg, but I may be wrong
Short of stopping at the camera and logging the Lat & Long I can't think of a way to do it.
Can anything be produced with Microsoft Autoroute as I have loaded the database on there as well?
Cheers

Thanks APB,
On the expansy's forum there is an easy to follow guide to log the missing locations, however it is a bit long winded but ultimately worth it I think, so I urge everyone to report these anomolies as it is in everyones interest to do so.
BTW I am travelling to Dover on Thursday, are the M25 cameras all in the database?
Cheers

Just done the M25 anti-clockwise to Brighton. The speed camera's are there, but most in wrong location, multiple logs for one camera, none existant, or way off in a field. The camera's that are in the correct location do work as they should.
We started a new game instead of I-Spy,,to keep the kids happy,, when the TomTom Go gave a warning of a speed camera,,, we had to spot the camera, or not,and mark it if it's in the correct position. |
