I have a Jaguar 2013 XF with a Navigation System Denso v30.12.12
I would like to add PIOs to the system that show Speed Camera locations AND Speed Limits. I can see that GPS World has a Speed Camera Detection System that can be downloaded and added to my Sat Nav but I cannot see a download designed to show speed limits. Does anyone know whether there is such an application? I understand that the Tom Tom device shows speed limits but I would prefer to have one that is integrated into my Jaguar System. |

I believe that the speed limit data is usually hard coded into the map data of most systems. The are also not very reliable with quite a lot of data errors in my experience. |

Hello all,
Possibly another simple question from me. I am really interested and want to subscribe and download the app to my iphone. However it occurred to me that when my phone is in the car and I'm listening to normal radio or a CD (so i.e. not listening to anything through the phone) then I don't hear alerts on the phone such as text message alerts or emails etc. _________________ You can get score highest marks in comptia a+ training dumps exam using a+ certification practice test and test king which are prepared by top certified |

Yes it is - It originated as iOS App, Android is actually the "johnny-come-lately" app. _________________ Dennis

Its probably like my Mondeo the only time I can hear my phone satnav voice thru the radio via Bluetooth is when I am streaming music from the phone, it seems to be a limitation on inbuilt blue tooth systems not withstanding that Ford, Jaguar and Volvo all seem to share the same parts. I also get no voices at all some time when radio on but haven't sussed this out yet. _________________ Moto G5s Plus, Sygic 17.4.8 |

Having CA on your phone will not stop the other phone stuff working, if that's what you meant. You weren't terribly clear in your question. Is that what you meant? Or something else? |

On the android version it is possible to make the audio output to use the phone speaker even when it is connected to a bluetooth device. This allows you to be using the car audio in radio or cd mode, the phone connected by bluetooth for calls but alerts for CA still play through the phone speaker.
I guess there would be a similar setting in ios
Is this what you are after? _________________ https://share.octopus.energy/dense-raven-261 |
