I have imported various POI's into Sygic but cannot get the name of the POI to show on the map without first clicking on it. It would be very useful to me to show the POI name on the map.

I am using RUPI Manager from the app store to import POI's from Google Maps. But I have also used just a text editor to create the file then the Sygic RUPI Convertor. Still no label.

Anyone get the label to show without clicking on the POI?

No. Only by tapping them. Think about it. How much of the map would you be able to see if all your POIs had the labels displayed by default? That would be really annoying.

Yes it would if ALL of them were displayed, but Sygic has a fairly advanced POI system. Just select a POI group and allow the name for THAT group.

I finally got a response from Sygic:

Please go to Menu-Settings-Favorite POI, select the POI group as main and then the details should appear.

In case you would have any other questions or problems, do not hesitate to contact me.

Will test this later and post results.

I already had this setting. Doesn't work.

I know POI names can be shown as most of the POI on the map that I've downloaded from Sygic (Canada) show not only the POI Icon but the name beside it -- if I zoom close.

Not sure if one of the categories in the POI table will trigger the name to be shown. My table only uses Lat, Long, Name

Anyone?
