Adding POI's to TomTom Start 25 M

Hi I am new to adding third party stuff onto my new TomTom Start 25 M so need a bit of help.
I have downloaded the file from this site for all the POI's I need or might need. The problem I am having is finding a way to get them onto my device. I use My Drive via a Mac and cannot find a way to get the POI's on there. I have Googled it but the instructions I have seen do not match what I see on my screen. It says to Connect your navigation device to your computer. Switch on your device.
Click the MyDrive Connect icon (Image or Image) in the Windows notification area or Apple menu bar. No icon is on notification area. I can't even see where notification area is.

Can anyone help please?

TomTom software for your computer should download and install when you setup your TomTom account on the computer - should happen when you connect device to computer.

Notification area is top right of Mac screen (MyDrive being that little circle with the blue arrow) and you can also look at Applications in Finder. If that doesn't sort you out, you need help from somebody else cos' I'm a numpty with this.
