Tele-Atlas must be getting quite good at this now, reported 2 problems on Tuesday evening and just received 2 emails saying they could see the problems and have fixed them for the next release. 2 days- not bad at all!! |

In my experience it takes at least 12 months to make it to the final maps.
When the next maps come out, not long now, I'll check the lead time again. _________________ Richard

The corrections I reported about 2 years ago have eventually been partially incorporated in the 930 map _________________ Garmin Drive 51LMT-S EU

My most recent correction, that is incorporated, was dated Oct 2012. But there are some earlier ones that are not present yet.
Perhaps some corrections have priority over others. _________________ Richard

One of them was leaving Basingstoke towards Winchester, it would'nt navigate right at the lights but would take you up to Jcn 7 on the M3 then back down to turn left at the lights. The other was Cherque Way between Lee on Solent and Gosport, it would'nt navigate along this road until you actually turned into it then it would reroute correctly. |

No, when I went to change the turn restrictions the right turn was not available to select! |

With the latest 9.3 Map, you can travel West, from Gosport to Lee on the Solent, and turn right into Cherque Way.
If you use Map Share on the TT Device, there is no 'allow right/left turn'.
If you use Map Share at www.tomtom.com/mapshare/tools/# the 'allow right/left turn' is available.
Or ... do you mean travelling on Cherque Way and turning right into Privett Road and going to Lee on the Solent? In which case the Website can accept the correction. _________________ Richard

No you have them mixed up, My 540 with map 925 will not route along Cherque way from either end to the other, it take you right round Lee on Solent but once you turn into Cherque Way it reroutes using Cherque Way.
The right turn issue is on the A30 coming out of Basingstoke towards Winchester. |

Ah, I understand now.
The problem with the Cherque Way route is that TT's algorithm shows that it takes a minute longer to go the 'direct route', even though it's only 1.5 miles mile (compared to the 2+ miles 'quicker route').
The A30 'problem' looks as if it is down to a Missing Street. This can be reported on the Device, but won't be added by Map Share, but be included in some future map. _________________ Richard

I use this road nearly every trip I have already corrected the speed limit(40mph) and it is a lot quicker than the route given by TT. |
