I have had to do a hard reset to my 2210. I have gone to re sync & it does not work . It is telling me that pocket_pc is already in use & to choose anopther name. If I do that I will not be able to sync with the info on my PC already Ie. outlook
Please advise

You can create another name for your sync partnership, it just means that you want to be careful in adding each item like calendar, tasks, files, inbox. Once it starts syncing under the new name for the first time, you want to start hitting that stop button 100 times until it stops before it can sync.

Then go into OPTIONS and turn off the syncing for each category. Add one in at a time and check the rules because ideally what you want to do the first time round is to set your PC as the master and tell it to overwrite anything on your Pocket PC in each category. That way it won't complain and will populate everything on your PC to PPC. Then go in and change it to a two way sync for each category and you should be sorted.

There are other ways around this but it involves hacking the registry AFAIK, it's something I haven't tried before and I just usually create a new Partnership name by changing the PPC name.

Thanks for the info. All this because I dropped the dam thing. The restore would not work from the cf card, so I am reinstalling TT3 at present
