If that's true how did they find him? (Mr Wright that is?)
All still seems a bit sus to me |

DVLA? They will tell pretty much anything to anyone. |

But that assumes (I think) that they're supplied with a reg no, which would have led back to Mr Gorman wouldn't it? I'm going around in circles here so fast I'm dizzy and very confused |

Surely if you supply them with a name and a dob, they can tell you the address (If they have a driving licence). But had they done that, they would have been able to send the documents to him unless he had moved without telling them. (Smacks of an urban myth to me) |

... and in which case Mr Wright (presumably) would have done something about it earlier and not just ignored it. Guess we'll never know for sure how this all happened |

From the Source: 'The court heard that police traced a Martin Wright with the same birth date. In the man’s abscence [sic] he was found guilty of both speeding offences and disqualified from driving. He was also fined £1,440.'
Not sure why, if the police had traced him, he failed to respond to prosecution notices? As you say, we'll never know. _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]
