I am unable to add speed cams to my system although I followed installation instructions. The system does not read files recorded on the memory stick at all. I have current model NISSAN QASHQAI (here in Ausralia called DUALIS). What am I doing wrong?

Hi Mark and welcome to TG forums. I can't help you directly, but there is loads of posts about the Nissan Quashthingy. Try a search for NISSAN QASHQAI and check the 'Search for all terms' check box. I'm not certain if there is an answer there, but I feel certain that someone who knows about these things will be along in a bit.
If you have followed the instructions, it would be useful if you could tell us at what point 'it doesn't work' |

Hi
My problem has been resolved. I used different memory stick and it worked this time. |

I'm pleased for you. It's also good to know that the stick makes a difference. |

Query from long time TT user, but now with new Qashqai;
so this database is d/loaded on memory stick, and goes nowhere near the SD card then, and then integrates with the Nissan/Navteq/Bosch built in sat nav?
Does it then get permanently migrated into the Nissan system, or does USB stick need to be inserted each time you want to use?
Appreciate has to be for each update.
(I was intending to back up SD card, but probably won't due to threats/hints it will work in no other device, may damage..doubt that!)
Thanks in anticipation. _________________ Gel

It probably won't work on a different SD card and probably will in a different car. If it screws up, at least you will be able to re-instate the software on the original SD.
As to your other questions. You'll have to wait for an expert. |

I managed to down load the database but as I am driving along, nothing seems to be happening. The inbuilt Nissan alerts sound but nothing appears on the screen from the pocket gps world system. In my last car the system worked perfectly with the connect system. Any ideas? |
