Tomtom Go 500 Custom Poi ?

Hi iam planing to buy Tomtom go 500 and wonder if go500 will allow to ad Pocketgps Poi?

Unfortunately not - the newer TomTom models do not allow any user POIs to be added.

Hi,
I updated TT MyDrive Connect today and the e-mail telling me about it says that we can now download OV2 POI files and install them on the Go500, which is what I've got.
I have just joined this site and am currently finding my way around.
Feel free to let me know where the Australian POI's are as it looks like this site doesn't have any.

Hi all,
I found the Australian POI's. Can't download them with Safari though - bummer, shall have to install Firefox to do so.

It's a problem with Safari and zip files.

Thanks Richard but I cannot access that link, it is for special access members only.

However, I just tried Chrome browser, which I already had installed, and that works fine, I downloaded a file and expanded it OK with Stuffit.

BTW, I don't have a problem downloading other zip files with Safari, haven't come across a problem before this.
