Have you have been exactly following the instructions here especially step 8? If so, it might be good to mention at which stage it fails. |

Unzip or extract is another word for it. It's these Apple fanboys that use terms that not many people understand. I'm surprised that it bandied about here as the downloads come in the *.zip files and thus require un-zipping.
At which point is the procedure failing? |

Then it seems like it is possible that you are doing something wrong.
Have you got the folder name right in step 1? It should be PersonalPOI. Note: No space.
Have you unzipped the files into the PersonalPOI folder. It should now contain, amongst others, files names pocketgps_uk_sc.gpx and pocketgps_uk_pmobile.gpx. Can you see these two files on the SD card?
If so, at which step does it not do what you are expecting it to do. (Use the step number in the instructions as a reference)
From the instructions, Command will NOT automatically start to import the data when the SD is inserted. You have to do the stuff in the instructions, like steps 20 - 23. Are you doing this? |

Ah, right. I don't have the Merc system, so can't really go any further. If you are absolutely sure that you have the correct folder name and the correctly named *.gpx files within that folder on the SD, then the only things that I can suggest further is that you delete all the other files out of the POI folder on the SD except the *.gpx files and/or try a different SD card.
Just had another thought. Thinking out loud really. Are you using an SDHC card and if so, does it matter or should it be a bog standard SD card? Should the 8Mb suggestion in the instructions be 8Gb? Anyone??? |

Just a thought. When extracting/unzipping/whatever the files, are they going into a sub-folder of PersonalPOI or staying in the same folder? I don't have the system but suspect they need to be in the folder itself and not a sub-folder.
Some extraction utilities will create a new folder by default unless you tell it otherwise. Is also try using an otherwise blank SD card just in case it makes a difference.

Yes have it all working now.
After you have downloaded the file , then extracted it you will see a file with
Need Help

Pocketgps uk mobile
Pocketgps-uk-sc GPX File ........this one only

RENAME the Pocketgps-uk-sc GPX File only to PersonalPOI then copy or move to the PersonalPOI folder on the SD card
