I'm looking at getting a new satnav and I've narrowed it down to either the 3598!or 2598 as I want one with both the best traffic info and bluetooth ( I've had to tomtoms before but the latest ones don't seem to be so good).
I've had a look at both in halfords and on the face of it the 3598 does seem the better unit, but I was wondering what people think? |

The £100 has to be subjective and depends what you can afford really
If you all go to use daily then the 3598 is worth the difference. The odd weekend here and there and I'd go for the 2598. The 3598 does have a much better screen which is more readable especially in sun
The 3598 also has a better routing engine as part of Garmin's Prestige or Premium range. The 3598 has a faster processor but makes very little difference for the sorts of journeys made in the UK. _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.80

I've got the 2597LMT and it's perfectly OK. All you can do is look/compare the features list and decide what's best for you. _________________ DashCam:
