I have been experiencing an irritating number of map freezes - resulting in a a number of missed turnings. The GPS signal is still being received, speed changes are noted.
It can be jolted back by hitting the "back arrow" then "View Map". A number of camera warnings are then displayed which have to be individually cancelled then the map resumes at the correct point.
All very irritating and distracting
Any suggestions would be appreciated before the unit (which has been very good up-till-now) is binned.
Regards etc |

Ok
Assuming poi.gpi contains the POIs you have loaded how many categories did you load?
Ie petrol stations, supermarkets, speed cameras etc?
In other words how many CSV files are putting through POILOADER? |

Thanks Paul,
So far as I am aware, only the speed camera files from this site. I can't open the .gpi folder to check.
Thanks Guys, for the master reset idea. I have tried that - it didn't behave as expected because none of my data disappeared. No opportunity to road test today. |

Well either the reset wasn't completed correctly or your data was at some stage sent to your nuvi and the original file (possibly temp.gpx) wasn't deleted. |
