I nearly bought the 2598... Halfords were selling this for £168. I went to the website today and it's now £189. For £168 I was willing to forgo the powered mount, but at £190 it's brought it much closer to the advanced range.

I did notice that most of the new nuvi are all essential range.

I got mine at Currys with a hefty discount. Wonder if they are still discounting ?
