|
|
Hi all
I have a tomtom 1005, the read aloud traffic info is handy but for some reason instead of saying 'junction' when stating where the traffic delay is it slightly stutters and says something sounding like 'joules', is this a known issue with tomtom's?
Or is something amiss with this particular unit?

All my TomToms read a local road - Jessops Underpass - as Jessops Underpants. _________________ Dennis

My 720 has the habit of reading town names with Saint abbreviated like "St Leonards" as S T Leonards.
The 1005 says Close as in Brighton Close as close as in 'close the door.' Close must appear in lots of addresses, but I can see no reason for the nav s/w to ever say close as in door!
I really wonder what satnav TT engineers use ... ;-) _________________ Go Premium X / Go 1005 |
