No its all gone quiet, not had anything from MaFt recently. Looks like we will have to stay with SCDB or a screen mount GPS |

I use my TomTom sometimes, but for the car to have a built in Sat Nav, then it would be nice for it to be updated and able to use. |

I have sent MaFt a pm so here's hoping he can be persuaded to investigate the problem. |

From a quick look at that link it seems you just need to download that software and point it to a CSV version of the database (eg the garmin one or 'other - csv').
Has anyone actually tried that?

I know this is a old post but just won't to add this to see if any one has a new view info?
I have just got a new citroen c4. and would just like to say the sat nav on this car is a real old out of date bag of junk.
to get a new map car came with 2012/13 to get 2013/14 will cost £139.00. the speed camera updates are 6.99 a month £26.00 a year 12 down loads.
you up date via a usb stick.
Still only have 4 digit post code. the first time I needed to find a address by post code It was a 6 digit post code and it could not find the address.
The map data is by tom-tom as far as I can find out but map for last year is so out of date, new roads that have been in place two or more years do not show on this version.
citroen I'm told won't pay the royal mail for the use of post code data.
also the software is not user friendly at all its the worst sat nav system I have ever used, and I have had most of them and used many more.
files on usb stick to up date speed cameras (just the names no files)
root
smeg_plus_upg
contact.dat
UpgPlugin.out.inf
UpgPlugin.out
Folder Data inside
Folder MAPPE inside
Folder POI_USER inside
ZAR_POI.BIN
ZAR_POI.BIN.inf
9 items 1.4meg in size
I also have the set of files to take all speed camera information off, so you are with in the law for driving in say France.
this comes with a lot more files folders
folders 001 002 003 004 005 006 013 022
with files names
POI_VER.RADAR.TXT
RADAR.LZW
RADAR_PE.LZW
RADAR_PS.LZW
RADARDSC.LZW
.LZW I CANT open
the POI_VER.RADAR.TXT

POI_CAT:41
DATA_POI:25/01/2012
