I wouldn't say that £22 for the Lakes is 'too cheap', when it's now £26 for the latest toggleable version....but the other one for £800 is a bit different. |

I missed "introductory" - hope it doesn't go up too much, but really don't want to spend too much at the moment. |
They've now gone up by quite a lot. I left it too late to think seriously about buying it - and what was £230 is now £330! For £250 you can get all of the UK at 1:25k on a single SD card - but that doesn't also include toggleable 1:50k and 1:10k maps like the dearer 2-SD set does. _________________ Roger

Having just brought a house, it is low down list of expenses - but even at that price I might still be interested next year sometime _________________ J. |

All very muddled thinking as far as I can see. I would have bought the new maps at the £230 price but wanted to see what the pricing was going to be for the HD maps but there is still no sign of these or the Satmap 12. As my Satmap 10 is getting a bit bashed I would probably buy a Satmap 12 with HD maps if the price was right or if the price is prohibitive I would have bought the 1:25,000 toggleable maps. At the moment I'm a bit in limbo and haven't ordered/bought anything and now I see the map price has gone up. Not ideal marketing. There may be something on facebook but I prefer to get my information from the official Satmap site. |
