I cannot get the app to email me the track log. If I try over a 3G connection I get error code 4 and the app crashes generating crash logs. If I use WiFi I get error code 3.
The CamerAlert version is 1.3.10 (736-121010).

Just got the same error (-3) on wifi, I wonder if the links have been updated since the server move? _________________ Mike

I am getting the same problem - Error(-3): Unable to connect to the server.
Has there been a reply or a fix to this? |

Sorry guys, the mail server that we used for that feature has been decommissioned a while back. We don't currently have a way to re-enable this, and we may remove that feature altogether in future releases. _________________ Lutz

Can understand that - although there is surely a mechanism within iOS to allow an application to send mail (although you would then need to have set up the "from" address and the like).
The more important thing (for me) is the ability to export the track SOMEHOW - I'm not seeing any alternative to email for that (at least not without some deep digging). Although the track is not going to be evidential quality there are times when it could be of use (and actually I quite like having a GPS tracker running anyway). |
