Can someone explain why sometimes, when I start navigating, there is an icon at the top centre of the screen that says "AUTO" ?
Thanks.

Do you want to give as a little clue as to what you are talking about? Device? Nav software? |

Could it be auto-zoom? I don't recall seeing any text/icon like that on Navigon on the HTC One...
I wonder if you could get a screenshot to show us?

Another thought - what language options do you have? perhaps it's saying 'auto' as in 'automobile' (vehicle directions) as opposed to pedestrian directions?
Or, another stab in the dark, maybe you have it set to pedestrian directions but it detects you're going too fast for a pedestrian so 'auto'matically changes to car mode?

Thanks for the suggestions.
I have not been able to do a screen shot as the message does not come up every time.
I'll see what Navigon say and report back here.

No reply yet from Navigon but experimenting has shown it to be what appears after the application of a manual zoom.
Then the message AUTO appears so you can hit it and the sofware resumes its own zooming.
