Hi, I'm having trouble connecting my 720 to my galaxy phone I have the two units connected (paired) and transfered the phone book to the 720.
If it's connected to the home charger it will call a number but when I try to use it in the car (12v) it gets as far as calling number and then the phone ends the call.
I have tried it in two different cars but the result is the same.
Any suggestions would be appriciated |

I have a Galaxy S3 and a TT 920. Have you checked that it did in fact transfer ALL of your phone entries to the TT?? |

Thanks for your replies, Yes I'm sure it did copy all the phone entries, and it does try to dial them, they come up on my phone has having been called it just the phone ends the call as soon as it connects.
I haven't tried another charger the one I use came with the satnav and still appears to be working ok. |

Had exactly same symptoms when I first got a 720. Was using without a charger - innocent mistake at the time.
So I think Anita is on right track.
Has TT charger any sign of cable failure at the ends? If in any doubt change it anyway - if the voltage sensor wires fails first it will kill your 720!
Another possibility with an older unit like the 720 maybe the battery is getting weak and pulling down more of its fair share of the available current? _________________ Go Premium X / Go 1005 |
