Hi All,
I currently have a 540 live and was waiting for the new 6000 unit to come out but there seems a lot missing as yet.
So as the free life time maps offer runs out tomorrow I was thinking is it worth getting a 825 live?
I need my own POI, bigger screen and live traffic.
The bonus of the life time maps steer me to the 825.
The more I hear of the new units they don't appear to be the thing I need.
Unless TT put the features I want onto them soon.
Forgot to ask,
Can you get a quick release active mount for the 825 and how much?

Sorry you got no replies...
Did you go for it in the end?
If you did, then you can get third part mount solutions, but they won't be active, they just replace the ball and sucker with something in two parts, so you can leave half on the windscreen.

Hi Andy,
Thanks but in the end I decided to keep my 540 going as after trying the 825 in halfords theres not much changed.
I still have live services until Jan 2014 and will see what the 6000 is like by then.
Apart from a larger screen the 825 seems just like the 540 really.
Cheers
Kev
