|

Hi Guys
With the TomTom Android app is it possible to get it to custom sound files to warn about the approaching speed cameras like it is with a TomTom device.
I have loaded the Speed Camera Files and they display on the screen but I get no audio warning.
Can it be done.
Thanks

I don't believe so. Most people run the CamerAlert app in the background for the audible warnings which supplement the TomTom app. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

I think you *can* actually get the icons and possibly audio on the Android TomTom app but it's a bit of a faff that involves having to copy a map settings file from a TomTom device with the same map version etc...
It's easier just to run CamerAlert!

I wasn't aware about the voice alerts but it is possible to get the icons into the TT app. It's been a bit of a while since I did it but I belive you just copy the .ov2 & .bmp files into the map folder just like the Ol' Days. If that doesn't work, copy them them straight into TT Root. |
