Custom sounds for PGPS speed camera icons

Hi Guys

With the TomTom Android app is it possible to get it to custom sound files to warn about the approaching speed cameras like it is with a TomTom device.

I have loaded the Speed Camera Files and they display on the screen but I get no audio warning.

Can it be done.

I don't believe so. Most people run the CamerAlert app in the background for the audible warnings which supplement the TomTom app.

I think you *can* actually get the icons and possibly audio on the Android TomTom app but it's a bit of a faff that involves having to copy a map settings file from a TomTom device with the same map version etc...

It's easier just to run CamerAlert!

I wasn't aware about the voice alerts but it is possible to get the icons into the TT app. It's been a bit of a while since I did it but I belive you just copy the .ov2 & .bmp files into the map folder just like the Ol' Days. If that doesn't work, copy them them straight into TT Root.
