Hi
I've just installed the cameralert on my 2013 Vauxhall antara sat nav. Followed the instructions to the letter but now my nav has completely lost all orientation!! The map function (real time) doesn't work anymore, compass is defunct & it's all basically gone pete tong!!
Any suggestions please anyone??

Best thing to do would be to uninstall the database? I highly doubt that our files could affect the whole nav system in the way you suggest. But removing the files can be a way to test that.

Hi, yes I have done that but the nav system remained the same. I even re-installed it again but to no avail. The system has & was working perfectly up to the point of installing this software.
I'll go out now again & see if it's still the same. |

Just to clarify this point, what did you install? Unless you're talking about the iOS or Android CamerAlert Apps, this is just a POI file, there's no software involved.
Hope you get your problem solved soon! _________________ Jock

Hi guys
Don't know what happened but it's working as normal again
However, the cameras don't show as icons on the map & no voice warnings happen, just a wee blip & written warning appears which to be honest would be easily missed. Have I done something wrong? POIs are set to be shown.
Regards

All is well now, don't think it was anything to do with PGPS. Everything now works fine & have camera icons on screen too. |

Good to hear! Did you ever work out what the problem was? _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

No, I can only think it may have been to do with the car not being on a digitised road when I loaded the POI's & started messing with things. If not then it may have just be a coincidence that the system had a blip at that time. It's worked perfectly since then. |
