my tomtom go 700 has finally given up the ghost and I've decided to replace it with navigation app on my android smartphone. I've decided to go with either tomtom or co-pilot being tempted by the live traffic updates.
I was wondering if anyone had any comparisions between the two traffic services on the accuracy of the updates and how quickly they re-route around traffic jams.
Thanks for any advice |

Have a look on the CoPilot Forum & you'll find lots of dissatisfied customers. ALK have a very good looking & well featured app, unfortunately the surface gloss is spoilt by their abysmal & unreliable routing & traffic. I & many other submitted numerous examples of both to ALK with little response. My advice would be to avoid _________________ Galaxy Note 4 / TomTom GO : CamerAlert : CoPilot |

Thanks for your reply. I'll go with tomtom. Hopefully price will be drop again before I need it. (Annoying as it was only 24.99 couple days ago) |

I can't say I've seen any special offers on HD Traffic Android but at £26.99 it's only about half the price of the full TomTom PND version, IIRC _________________ Galaxy Note 4 / TomTom GO : CamerAlert : CoPilot |

i would definitely go with totom's hd traffic!!!
i did a comparison between copilot & tomtom' hd traffic & found, at least in london that tomtom's traffic updated every 2mins & was very accurate & up to date with its reports & covered all the B roads in the area i was looking at whereas copilot didn't.
are u using tomtom's hd traffic at the moment?
pls let me know your experience with it?
thanks! _________________ www.SoundCloud.com/DjK4Yahweh
