Try deleting (by which I mean MOVING somewhere else, but keeping safe!) the contents of Home's download folder?

Unless you've set it to be somewhere else the download folder is usually in C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Downloads\complete\map (if Windows XP) or
C:\Users\username\Documents\TomTom\HOME\Downloads\complete\map (if Windows 7/VISTA)

Also clear the temporary cache folder in the same place but ending ....HOME\Downloads\Download Cache

Am I missing something here. I've checked everywhere and I can't find the new map release.

With no announcement from Ditte in TomTom's Discussions forum I suspect molerat caught an accidental glimpse of something not intended for release and it has since been removed from view.

Tried that and tried it on another computer with no joy, I think tgold has got it right. Home was showing 4 items, a map, navigate to postcode, gps quickfix and map share available. Wish I had waited until it had downloaded (or not) before posting Embarassed

905 was released 1 March, so a couple more weeks yet? Mind you we often get a new Home version before the release...no sign of that at this moment.

Indeed - it is offering new maps for my 740, and also a new application, version 9.510. Hmm, I think that's because this is an old SD card for checking, but it says it needs to download it.

Yes, Application 9.510 came out in April - I think Confused .

Just downloaded and installed Map v910.4892 for my GO950Live - took a total of 11 minutes to download and then a further 14 to install successfully. Must admit I still like the 'old' Home way of updating against the newer MYTT app. Although having the backups on my computer taking up space is a pain.

And THIS map update has removed my PGPSW camera warnings along with my "Home" address and "Recent Destinations" - the first time that has happened for a while!! I'll have to spend some few minutes putting them back. Good old TT......................
