I'm thinking of buying a 1005 at tesco, because from Monday they are double the value of tesco points , but on the web it just mentions free map upgrades not the 3 years HD traffice free.

Do you know whether it's possible to get the HDT Edition with World maps and the 3 years Live subscription - either at Tesco or anywhere else?
My 950's maps are out of date, and its Live subscription has expired, and we have trips to both France and Canada/USA planned for later in the year, so I've also been thinking about the 1005. _________________ Philip

Tesco, Halfords, Argos and Amazon all sell the HD 3 Year system
But none for the World Edition - only Europe
Either way, Free Map Updates (even on World Edition) only apply to one region - ie. Europe when purchased in Europe
Maybe worth waiting for their new units ETA July which automatically come with free maps and free HD traffic - for life _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600
