I am running Primo 2 on an Android phone. I would like to transfer my Garmin favourites to the Primo.

I have tried using the online POI Editor at http://garmin.gps-data-team.com/extra/poiedit.php?file=NewPOIfile

However when i tried to view the new kml file in POI Editor the contents are empty.

To check if there was a problem with the gpx file I used POI Editor to convert the gpx to csv. I can see the data in the new csv file in excel, but when I try to view it in POI Editor, it is empty.

I also tried GPSBabel. There is no option to convert GPX XML to kml so I tried convertng to csv. It created a neater csv file than POI Editor, but again, when I tried to view the csv file in POI Editor, the contents are empty.

The GPSBabel CSV has three columns: 2 for coordinates and one for name. Is there a way I can manually convert the csv to a kml for Primo. I only have 80 favourites.

By the way, in the GPSbabel csv the columns have no header (ie x coordinate, y coordinate, name)

Found a solution which may be of use to someone out there.

1. If you have no Favourites in Primo, create one now. Close Primo
2. Open the Garmin gpx file in online tool POI Editor
http://garmin.gps-data-team.com/extra/poiedit.php?file=NewPOIfile
3. Save as KML (Google file). Call it new.kml
4. You need to edit the user.UPOI file in Primo which contains your Favourites. Located here: IGO/save/profiles/01/user.UPOI
5. Using USB or Airdroid to access your Android files, (http://web.airdroid.com/) copy the user.UPOI file to desktop. Call it new.UPOI
6. Open new.UPOI in UPOI Editor
Download UPOI Editor here:
http://www.eyegps.gr/Downloads/UPOI/UPOI%20Editor%20v2.3%20ENG.rar
7. In UPOI Editor you will see that new.UPOI will have a subfolder called @Favourites
8. Click on @Favourites and any existing Favourites in Primo will be listed here
9. Right Click new.UPOI folder
10. Click Import file and import the file created by POI Editor (new.kml)
11. This creates a new sub folder with the same name as the kml file
12. Open this folder and drag the new POIs into the @Favourites Folder
13. Check the @Favourites folder to see if the POIs have moved
14. Delete the new folder which is now empty and Save
15. Go to Desktop and rename new.UPOI as user.UPOI and copy the file to Primo (IGO/save/profiles/01/) using USB or Airdroid
16. Please remember to backup the old user.UPOI file before.

eeee.... why? If he'd place the whatever_name_he_will_choose.kml file in igo/content/userdata/poi folder, he will be able to see this file content via settings-map-poi visibilities as POI category... so why so complicated procedure?
