Did a backup of the sd card with TT Home to a new folder on the desktop which revealed the map folder Europe_Truck_905_4798. Now have about 2.6gb's worth of data so copied it to the 8gb sd card and now it hangs on the Truck screen and goes no further. Anything I need to add or delete to make this pita card kick in properly? |

If so, then that's normal. The Map will only work with the SD Card it came on. _________________ Richard

But you do know what the Folder Name of the Map is now. _________________ Richard

Do you have Windows Explorer set to show HIDDEN files and folders?
From the top menu it's in Tools / Folder options / "View" tab _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Yes Andy. I think it's getting close to the card finding the bin. |

If you try Oldboy's suggestion from yesterday someone may be able to help you further.
Oldboy wrote: | There is a little program you can download from http://www.snapfiles.com/get/drivez.html
When you run the program you can copy a Listing of any Folder to the Clipboard. If you run it and navigate your way to the SD Card, it will List all that is on the SD Card
Then you only need to Paste in your next Post.
It's a simple, but effective, tool and we can see if there any obvious clues there. |

Can you access it with Windows Explorer? Can you see the individual files?
If yes and yes, you could try putting the Camera files in there, and then ask HOME to Restore the Map to the SD Card. It might take the camera files as well. _________________ Richard

Latest Update to this:
I deleted everything off the SD Card and started to copy everything from the backup which I did with TT Home. Not enough room on the card!!!
So obviously that map folder was well and truly hidden, even after making sure that the computer displayed hidden files and folders????
Anyway, I then formatted the sd card and copied all the files and folders to it. Now everything working okay and the map folder displayed for my poi's to go in
Big thankyou to everyone who offered assistance, much appreciated.
