Hi folks,
I see Google Maps on Android now has the option of storing sections of map for offline use, which appears to work ok. Any chance of CamerAlert being able to use these bits of mapping?

Only if Google make it available in their API.
Remember, the Maps app and the maps API available to 3rd party developers are totally separate.

There is actually some sort of caching going on with the API maps, but it is entirely out of our control. It also seems to cover a five square mile area at most, so it's rather not very useful. _________________ Lutz
