I'm having problems updating my Via 130. For the past few days MyTomTom is telling me that there are two new items available for the Via 130. When I connect the device to MyTomTom it says "Your navigation device is up-to-date", despite at the same time displaying a message telling me that updates are available.
I've tried logging out of MyTomTom, disconnecting the device and reconnecting. I just get the same messages telling me that there are updates available, but I'm still unable to download them and it again tells me "Your navigation device is up-to-date".
Is anyone else having similar problems with MyTomTom? |

I'm still able to download items for my 120. Have you tried a drum roll reset?
Have you got the latest application of MyTT (not TT Home) as there was a bug previously.

Thanks for the reply.
I've tried the drum roll reset this morning, but no change.
The version of MyTomtom on my laptop is 3.2.0.906, and MyTomTom says that is the up to date version (Is that correct?). I'm running Windows 7 as the OS.
I've had a look through the TomTom Discussions support forum, but I've seen no obvious threads from others suffering the same problems. |

That's the same version I have. I have just connected my 120 and have the same problem now. There is also a thread on the TT forums now too. Looks like they broke it again _________________ Garmin Drivesmart 51 LMT-D Europe |

Strange, working again now. I cleared my cache again and got a 3.2mb download of mapshare updates.
Maybe a "blip" on TT side? _________________ Garmin Drivesmart 51 LMT-D Europe |

I've now cleared the cache (I hadn't done that previously), and tried connecting the 130 again. Still no joy with the downloads. The 130 is connecting to MyTomTom and still shows 2 new items available, but then tells me the device is up to date.
Very frustrating, as you can't actually check the files on the device! For all I know my 130 might be up to date, and the blip is with MyTomTom.
Thanks for pointing out the new thread on TT Discussions. That's appeared since I last checked. At least other folk are seeing the same problem, which is comforting in a perverse way. |

I've tried connecting the Via 130 to MyTomTom again this morning. It showed two available updates, and it downloaded both without any problem. I hadn't altered anything since yesterday, so it's a mystery as to what the problem has been. |

Did you try clearing your browser's cache also? The temporary files stored seem to have been causing problems.

I didn't clear the browser's cache, but did clear the MyTomTom cache yesterday.
The problem seems to have disappeared without me changing anything since yesterday. No doubt it'll reappear when I next try to update the 130. |
