After dealing with the Sirfstar3 bug, I noticed a minor point of little interest. In Home when you go to Manage my Device, then Delete Items from Computer, I used to find a long list of QgpsF that I had not biothered to delete. Since 2.9, it only seems to show the current version, I assume it is now dumping old versions in the same way it dumps old mapshares? _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

I have only just noticed that Home version 2.9 seems to have 'deactivated' the Home Installer file on my 550 and 530. I think I may as well remove it, unless anyone thinks different? _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

TBH I've never really understood what that installer was there for. I never found a way to use it.
Did it just send you to a website to get it if you didn't already have it installed? _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Nope, I've only got the files/folders that were originally installed on the devices or downloaded by Home + a few wav files of my own warnings. The installer file covered by the 'no entry' sign is only on the 550 and 530 not the XL. I'm going to delete them.
Edit: deleted on the 530 no effects. Will do 550 later. _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]
