Hi when I try to open the memory stick on the kenwood sat nav page it says new poi's found do you want to open, when i click yes it says can not open up file.
I have put files on before and worked fine, I have tried resetting the unit but no success. Am stuck at what to do |

I guess the obvious first questions are: what files are they, where did they come from, and can you think of any differences from how you got the ones that DID work? _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

I have a suspicion that he has fixed this by his post in his other thread. Unless I am getting Cams and POIs mixed up again. |

Yes, I just saw that...
A good demo of why it's best not to ask the same question in different places _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

As posted on another thread.
You can only add new POI's if you delete the originals you initially installed.
If you go into the tools screen of the satnav and find the mydata icon. Scroll down until you see delete custom POI's.
Once you have done this the unit will accept the updated POI's. |

Just seen you've worked it out on another thread.
Hard to keep track when you post all over the place. |
