|
|
I have an HTC One X and am running CoPilot Live EU Major.
For some reason this last month, it has used 562Mb of data in the foreground and 32Mb in the background. This has almost blown my monthly data package on just one app!
Is the foreground data traffic information? It seems an awfully large amount for whatever it is.
Has anyone else come across this? |

That does seem rather excessive... The only thing I can think of is if it downloaded map updates or maybe voice file updates when it first launched?

On my phone you can see the usage by application, this is how I knew the CoPilot Live app was using so much data. My plan resets itself each month and so I've been able to see how much data it's been using in March. Today for example, I drove from Manchester to Wigan and it used 27Mb of data, it's already used 67.5Mb in just three days.
On another forum, a CoPilot employee suggested this
"If you believe CoPilot is responsible for this unusual data usage, I would suggest re-installing CoPilot. Please remove the app, delete the "com.alk.copilot" folder located on your sd card, and re-install."
I'll give this a whizz and post the outcome. |

Well, the re-install worked. Travelled to and from work today and used a mere 110Kb. |
