Yes, support for my Galaxy Note added then too - and it works quite well. was slow to shift, but with a new simplified car mount for it (as opposed to the big and clumsy Samsung one), TT and the Note have taken over for my daily sat nav use
It is still not quite there with my standalones (for speed of set up, ease and fluidity of use) but nearly - and has the benefit of a bigger screen, high res, faster (almost instant) HD Traffic on
Of course, I use another phone (my Nokia Lumia 920) as my main PHONE - and get very few calls though to the Note - if it were my main phone, it would become unusable as a satnav for me) _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

I gave TT Android another try yesterday on my SGS3 &, as far as I'm concerned, it's worse than useless. I set off following a route set on both the in-car & TT/SGS3 and after driving a few miles I checked the route on TT, only to find that the location arrow was nowhere to be seen because I had driven completely off the map. After centring the map/ my location I still couldn’t fathom out where I was because the map was zoomed so far out that I couldn’t even distinguish the road I was on, so I had to manually zoom in to see where I was. This amount of hands on activity may be acceptable for an app designed for hiking but it’s ridiculous and dangerous (and possibly illegal) when used in a car. TomTom may have the best routing algorithms but that can’t overcome the fundamental usability issues, so until they add a “direction of travel” view and sort out some of the other serious problems I won’t be trying it again. Regarding positioning, the Tomtom app uses android's positioning services. I've noticed the "in the fields" about once a week with my Galaxy S3, ever since the Jellybean upgrade. When it happens I get the same issue with GoogleNav, so my assumption is that it is a Samsung problem. I have to reboot the phone to resolve it.
Regarding 2D direction of travel, Tomtom has confirmed that the next release will include it, but could not confirm timing of that release.

There was nothing wrong with the SGS3 GPS positioning, and I can’t say that I’ve ever found myself in a “field”, the problem was that I’d driven off the TT map & once centred I was zoomed so far out I couldn’t make out the road I was on ie:
