OK so after waiting for AGES for an iOS6 jailbreak, I've now got a fully JB phone. So I copied the original mapsetting.cfg and the .ogg files to the phone via winscp. All looks fine BUT I get no voice warnings as I used to get?
Any ideas? _________________ Cheers,

The usual reason for the changes the mapsettings.cfg file not taking effect when loaded to the iPhone is because the TomTom app is still running in the back ground - Kill the app with either a double tap to the Home button or de-powering the device then reload the mapsettings.cfg file to the correct folder (not the same folder as the POI and ogg Vorbis files).
I have no way to check any TomTom iOS6 PGPSW installs as I binned my iPhone when they released iOS6 and switched to what I consider a better device, always considered the Apple name was spelt incorrectly as Crapple is a more meaningful name - Any company that deletes/ removes functionality/ capability with a so called "upgrade" isn't viewed in a favourable light by me - Mike |

But to be fair, that 'functionality' was never supposed to be available to the general public so you can't really moan that they removed it. In essence they fixed a bug
