It won't be until this evening though I'm afraid because I need Wi-Fi access and I work in a facility where Wi-Fi is prohibited for security reasons. _________________ Andy

Still no issues at all for me with iOS 6.1 on my iPhone 4S.
Maybe an iPhone 4 issue?

Erasing iPhone and restoring is looking promising - early days yet, but it has not quit after about 15 minutes.
I'll report back later after it's been left alone for longer. _________________ Andy

Just tested on daughters iPhone 4 and it's working fine. Let us know how you get on. _________________ Darren Griffin |

After more than two hours, CamerAlert is still running - so, a restore would appear to have done the trick. _________________ Andy

Hi,
Ran mine static whilst in the office fine for an hour plus. Got back in the car and crashed again again every couple of minutes.
So for me, app is fine whilst static, but crashes whilst moving.
Weird! |

Unfortunately, bathbadger appears to be correct - CamerAlert is stable whilst static but crashes on the move.
6 crashes within 15 minutes this morning _________________ Andy

Strange that we've had no other reports of this issue. I'm not seeing that issue on ours, but will pass this for further investigation. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Perhaps others have not updated to iOS6.1 yet so they won't see this and/or some CamerAlert users may not be aware of how to report the crashing app after updating to iOS6.1.
I found the website and forum long before the app, but others may be oblivious. _________________ Andy

Oh believe me, CamerAlert users know how to find us! I handle the support tickets and plenty are from users who have never posted in the forum.
Our CamerAlert site is linked from the app pages at Apple and Google and there is a support form that opens a support ticket on the CamerAlert site.
I'm not denying your issue, but when we release an update and it causes issues, we hear about it real quick. We haven't had any other reports yet, that's not denying there may be an issue here, just saying.
Crashlogs are sent automatically, no user input required.
We'll be investigating. _________________ Darren Griffin |

The crash logs can take quite a while to filter back to us, so can you manually send us them as per my post on page 1?
